Dear Friends of Prayer Force One,
Thank you for your prayers during our "Spiritual State Of The Union Tour" across the great state of Missouri. We've worked diligently a truly interactive report of what happened during this intense and well-publicized tour. You will find many blue links in this letter so that you can enjoy the trip as if you were actually aboard YOUR Prayer Force One.
Jefferson Citys Mayor, John Landwehr Blogs Prayer Force One Visit

I thought it might be best to begin by quoting the mayor of Missouri's capitol city to give you a perspective of what went on and how Prayer Force One's arrival was anticipated in Jefferson City. I do this because I think Mayor John Landwehr pretty much summed up the type of public impact we try to have on the cities we visit. The above photo was taken by Mayor Landwehr, and his public blog comments were as follows:
"Prayer Force One To Land At Capitol Saturday
"Ed Moore served as an Oklahoma State Senator. Ed and his wife Sandy decided to take a pretty interesting road trip in 2006. They converted a very large bus to a traveling inspirational experience, "Prayer Force One." It's painted to resemble the president's airplane. They have visited 26 states and 17 capital cities. Sandy says Missouri's Capitol is one of the best she's seen so far. She's right. "I bumped into them while taping a segment on KNLJ-TV in West Dunklin. They (and the bus) will be at the South Circle of the Capitol all day Saturday. The bus has a virtual tour of the White House and allows visitors to pray all the way. They're really nice folks. No hard sell. Just a "back to basics" approach to a complicated world. Grab some coffee downtown and walk over to check this out."
Thousands Tour & Pray Aboard Prayer Force One

Prayer Force One was filled to capacity and beyond by enthusiastic prayer warriors throughout our seven city tour stops. Some of these were small groups while at other places we had to welcome our guests aboard in successive groups. We were so very pleased to see the many sincere and earnest people who came out to meet us for the express purpose of praying for America and its leaders.

On Saturday, August 26, upwards of 7,000-10,000 people gathered at the Missouri capitol as many thousands toured the bus during our daylong open house as a prayer chapel. Click on the photo above to watch a special slide presentation of Prayer Force One's entire Missouri Tour.
Prayer Force One Well Received By Christian & Secular Press Alike

As you know, the Prayer Force One ministry objective is to call America to prayer. To do this we must reach the masses with our message. In everything we do, we try never to lose sight of this great purpose. Whether we are reaching out through the Internet or touring aboard Prayer Force One, we always strive to reach as many people as possible.
It is in this capacity that the Prayer Force One bus really shines. No matter where we go, the bus and our message command good coverage by the press, which is a very important part of accomplishing our goal. During our tour through Missouri, we were very pleased by both the quality and quantity of press attention that the Prayer Force One tour was given.

Bott Radio Network Interview, The Complete Story, Airs Nationwide

Sandy and I are so very thankful for our gold star sponsors during the Missouri Tour. These included Steve Meyer, President of Jefferson City's United As One, Sue Stoltz and The National Day Of Prayer Task Force, and Dick Bott and the entire Bott Radio Network. We could never have done this tour without these and many other central Missouri silver & bronze sponsors.
While in Kansas City, we were privileged to appear on Dick Bott's radio program called, The Complete Story. Which aired nationwide on over 80 radio stations. If you have the time, you can hear the half-hour interview by clicking on the photo of Sandy and I above.
Bill Federer & Ed Moore Address Crowd

It was indeed an honor to share the platform with the great American historian, Bill Federer. Bill is the force behind the nationally syndicated, American Minute. I led the Morning Prayer time while Bill's address mesmerized the crowd with wonderful historical truth. Bill is pictured above along with our host, Sue Stoltz.
We Must Remain Dedicated & Tireless!

During our Missouri "Spiritual State Of The Union Tour", we were pushing hard from before sunup to late into the night. To be honest, we were all very weary. I for one learned a new respect for presidential candidates who keep this kind of grueling schedule for months on end. Just the same our tiredness was a very satisfying tiredness.
Beloved, "Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6:9) Let us not forget that there is still hope for America because there is still a God in heaven who is motivated by mercy, compassion and love. God still desires to bless America. If our nation will turn back to the LORD GOD of our Fathers, we can still be saved.
I think one of the biggest blessings on our recent tour came from a man who said that after our visit he had a renewed hope for revival in America. Let us not forget that the Bible promises, "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall raise up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19) Let us look to our Redeemer, for He is still upon the throne. Blessed be the name of the LORD!
In the photo above, Columbia, Missouri Pastor, Tom Ragsdale's little son donned our Prayer Force One cap. Let us ever be mindful that we must work day and night to preserve a godly nation for our children. This is what you and I and Prayer Force One are all about. Let us hear from you this week.
