     By now, everybody is well aware of the emerging controversy that has developed over President Barack Obama's declaration that our country "Is no longer a Christian nation." While none of us can possibly know what motivated Mr. Obama's bizarre remark, we want to make it perfectly clear that Prayer Force One is taking serious issue with his statement.

Christian Nation Proclamation Prayer

     The first thing that we have done is to issue a Christian Nation Proclamation Prayer, shown above. I would like to ask you to do several things to help spread this proclamation prayer.

     1. I am asking you to first join me right now in praying this prayer to our Heavenly Father. Let us consciously pray to our God andconfess before Him that we do indeed consider ourcountry to be aChristian nation. Let us then seek His forgiveness and favor for our hurting nation.

     2. Use the above "Christian Nation Proclamation" graphic in every way you can to help call America to prayer. (Click on the proclamation graphic above to enlarge a printable version.) We hereby give permission for every sincere Christian and Christian organization to use this unaltered graphic in any way the LORD directs. Perhaps you would like to use this graphic as a church bulletin insert for Flag Day, Sunday, June 14, or for the upcoming 4th of July Sunday, July 5th. It may be that you could make this graphic an attachment to any e-mails that you send out. Our prayer is that you will make use of this graphic to encourage other Americans to pray.

     3. Send this complete e-mail out to everyone you know. Better yet, if you have an e-mail list for your church, group or association, why not send it out to all of them as well?

White House Prayer Meeting Planned

The White House: Descending Into Darkness

     As you can see, the above graphic depicts The White House at night, for it seems to us that the forces of darkness are prevailing within its walls. Since taking office, (in addition to his earlier statement that America is no longer a Christian nation) President Obama has spurned the Washington DC, National Day of Prayer observance on Capitol Hill. He has rescinded President Bush's executive order to ban stem cell research. He has removed the protective "conscience-clause" for medical personnel who refuse to perform abortions. He is pushing through and planning to sign the so-called hate crimes legislation that seeks to silence preachers from preaching against immorality. (And if that were not enough) He has made known his plans to openly permit homosexuals into the military, while making an official Presidential proclamation in favor of lesbians and homosexuals, stating:

     "I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2009 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. (White House web site, June 2009)

     In short, President Obama's moral administration is an appalling and ghastly nightmare!

     The Bible sternly warns: "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto then that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!... Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!" (Isaiah 5:20-21,23)

     It has become painfully apparent that President Barrack Obama has created a White House atmospherewhich is hostile toevangelical Christians everywhere.All indications are that President Obama hasdeclared open war on many tenents of Biblical, Christian morality. While President Obama has had time to write a hand written sympathy note to a homosexual service person, he has not had the time to respond to our letter asking why his administration has removed the public tours portion of The White House web site, which we and thousands of other Americans have used as a way of conducting a quiet and peaceful prayer meeting for the past three and one half years.

President Obama's Comment Stands At Odds
With Other Presidential Quotes!

     In contrast to Barack Obama's remarks, other American presidents have paid tribute to America's rich Christian heritage. For example in addition to President Woodrow Wilson's quote: "America was born a Christian Nation.", which is found at the top of this e-letter, President John Quincy Adams had this to say about the founding of our nation:

     "The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: that it connected in one indissoluble bond, the principals of self-government with the principles of Christianity."

     President Theodore Roosevelt clearly warned: "Every thinking man, when he thinks, realizes that the teachings of the Bible are so interwoven and intertwined with our whole civic and social life that it would be literally, and I do not mean figuratively, but literally impossible for us to figure what the loss would be if these teachings were removed. We would lose all the standards by which we now judge both public and private morals."

     Years later, President Franklin Roosevelt had this to say just before Christmas, 1944: "Peace on earth, good will toward men - America must cling to that message. For it is my deep conviction that democracy cannot live without that true religion which gives a nation a sense of justice and moral purpose."

     I think President Ronald Reagan pretty much summed it up with these two following statements:

     "Sometimes it seems weve strayed from our convictions that standards of right and wrong do exist and must be lived up to. God, the source of our knowledge, has been expelled from the classroom. He gives us His greatest blessing, life, and yet many would condone the taking of innocent life. We expect Him to protect us in crises, but turn away form Him too often in our daily living. I wonder if He isn't waiting for us to wake up!"

     "Without God, there is no virtue, because there is no prompting of the conscience. Without God, we're mired in the material, that flat world that tells us only what our senses can perceive. Without God, there is a coarsening of society. And without God, democracy will not and cannot long endure. If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under!"

The Preambles Of All Fifty State Constitutions
Declare Our Trust In God!

     Not long ago one of our supporters sent a very informative e-mail to us, which contained all of the God-honoring preambles of our fifty state constitutions. Although there is no way of knowing whose original labor of love this was, we feel that including them here will serve to prove just how true it is that we are indeed, "One Nation Under God". We have reformatted this information and are pleased to pass it along to you here. Just click on the state flags graphic below to read your own state's preamble. Then, pass this along to others. It speaks for itself.

The Real "Inconvenient Truth"

     Beloved, I have asked myself why God allows immoral and ungodly leaders to come to power. I am afraid that the answer is this: God sometimes gives us what we deserve! I believe that He initially allows this to happen to wake us up. If we still do not respond to His patient mercy, I believe he then turns rebellious and unthankful nations over to ungodly rulers in order to punish the people for their deeds. This is the real inconvenient truth, for the scripture plainly warns that, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." (Psalm 9:17)

     Forget God? Perhaps we need to repeat the last sentence of President Ronald Reagan's warning to America, quoted above: "If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."

     It was to the nation that Abraham Linclon referredwhen he said, "It is the duty of nations, as well as men, to own their dependence uponthe overruling power of God and torecognize the sublime truth announced inthe Holy Scriptures and proven by all of history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD!"

     The question then becomes this: "Is it too late for America?"

     The answer to this question lies in the heart of God's people. We must remember that the God-prescribed path to national healing is addressed to the people of God. It is to them that God reaches out when He promises:

     "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways: then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land." (II Chronicles 7:14)

     Like salvation itself, God is the Savior. Christ did the dying. Ours is to repent and believe. Even so, if America is to be saved, God will have to do the healing. Ours is to humble ourselves, pray, repent, and seek God's face. This is God's recipe for revival. This is also the ministry message of Prayer Force One.
