Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Risen Savior!
So much has been happening in the development of Prayer Force One that I hardly know where to begin.
National Prayer Chaplain Appointed
The first development that I need to tell you about is the appointment of Dr. Don Sheffield as the first National Prayer Chaplain of Prayer Force One. You will be hearing a lot from and about Dr. Sheffield in the days ahead.
Let me tell you a little about our new National Prayer Chaplain. In appearance and speech, Dr. Sheffield reminds me of a younger, southern-fried version of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. He is a staunch Christian conservative with a great speaking gift coupled with a genuine love and concern for America.

Don is a truly humble man that everyone instantly likes. When "Chaplain Sheffy" speaks, one of the first impressions is the obvious anointing that he has from the Lord, as evidenced by the response from his hearers. Don is a seasoned minister, certified counselor, and great pulpiteer.
Dr. Sheffield's main duties will be to assist Prayer Force One in its primary purpose of calling our nation to prayer. In this roleDon will be traveling across America as a special envoy to churches and their pastors. His objective will beto give special encouragement to pastors in strengthening their church's prayer ministries, especially as it relates to the revival of our nation. Don will also be seeking out State Prayer Chaplains and PF-1 Wing Leaders as he travels across the nation. If you would like to invite Dr. Sheffield to your church, community or civic group, you can e-mail him at: Don@PrayerForceOne.com. In fact, why not e-mail Dr. Sheffield right now and let him know that you will be praying for him as he assumes his new duties.
Please do keep Chaplain Sheffy in your prayers. Don and his wife, Sherry, need to sell their home in Orange, Texas in order to relocate near the Prayer Force One headquarters in Oklahoma. Incredibly enough, Dr. Sheffield is coming on board by faith with the task of raising his own support. Brother Don is trusting God to meet his monthly needs in a huge step of faith. If you or your church would like tomake a tax deductible contribution to Don Sheffield on a monthly basis, please send support to his mission base at PF-1 headquarters addressed to:

Red Phone Prayer Team Gets Answers To Prayers!!!
In our first Red Phone Prayer Team Alert, (sent out last week) we asked our prayer partners to pray that God would lead us to a motor home for Dr. Sheffield to use as he tours the country. We wanted a motor home that would compliment our ministry flagship, Prayer Force One, and one designed for many reliable and trouble-free road miles.
Ina few days, our prayers were answered as we found an incredible and affordable MCI (Greyhound) conversion that was perfect for our unique needs. Unfortunately, we were an hour late. Someone had placed a deposit on it just minutes before we called. But....
That night we prayed that if this was the bus God wanted us to have, that He would let it become available. By 10:00 A.M. the next morning, the previous deal collapsed as the desired coach was then offered to us!
Of course, this was all fine and good, but we knew that we didn't have a dime toward buying this coach! However, weagainexperiencedanswered prayer.A Christian businessman offered to step up with a one year, stop gap financing offer, thus, giving usa yearto raise the needed funds. The new coach will soon be outfitted with a beautiful Prayer Force One logo on both sides with the words National Prayer Chaplain underneath. To God be the glory!
Please join us in prayer that God will touch hearts and provide the $23,500 needed to pay for this beautiful addition to the Prayer Force One fleet. Pray that God will give Chaplain Sheffy many blessings and safety as he steps out to join Prayer Force One in calling America to prayer.
This leads me to a second answer to the prayers of our Red Phone Prayer Team. In our last alert, we asked for prayer that God would open doors for Brother Don as he sets out to book meetings to present the ministry of Prayer Force One. Well, in a meeting of pastors in southeast Texas, Brother Don spoke with the result of 18 of 19 pastors expressing a desire to have him come to their churches. Praise God! If you would like to have Dr. Sheffield come, it looks like you better book him soon!
If you have not yet signed up to be a part of the Prayer Force One, Red Phone Prayer Team, you can still do so by visiting our home page and clicking on the blinking Red Phone button at the right.
Wonderful New Feature On Prayer Force One Web Site
We have added a wonderful new link to our website which adds a whole new dimension to our web presence. This new link, called The Daily Brief, (as its name implies) is a daily briefing of the top news from a Christian perspective.
This service is provided by the hard work of our good friend, Sara Ballenger, and her Capitol Hill Prayer Partners, located in Herndon, Virginia. We are extremely thankful, not only for Sara's pioneering work in providing The Daily Brief, but for her many inspiring years of organizing prayer in our nation's capitol. Thank you Sara!!!
In order to begin enjoying The Daily Brief, just go to our web site at www.PrayerForceOne.com and click on the left hand button that looks like the one pictured above. I know that you will be blessed as you take advantage of this daily news briefing. We believe that the addition of The Daily Brief will be just one more reason to use Prayer Force One as your Internet homepage. For instructions on how to use Prayer Force One as your homepage, go to PrayerForceOne.com, and find instructions just above The Daily Brief link.
Off To Washington For The National Day Of Prayer
Sandy and I will soon be traveling with Prayer Force One's Executive Vice-President, Barry Blenis, and his wife Bonnie, of Surprise, New York. Barry is a Christian businessman, ministry counselor, and co-founder of Prayer Force One. How we thank God for Barry and Bonnie, who have traveled all over America on behalf of Prayer Force One.
Please pray for the four of us, (pictured above at the National Prayer Committee Meeting in Austin, Texas) as we travel to Washington D.C. for The National Day of Prayer observance on Capitol Hill. Please pray for the entire National Prayer Committee (of which we are a member) as it meets in conjunction with NDP events in Washington. We are very grateful for the tremendous work of The National Prayer Committee as well as its offspring, The National Day of Prayer Task Force housed at Focus On The Family headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I'll be writing a whole e-letter on The National Day of Prayer soon. Until then, may God continue to bless your every prayer.
P.S. As you can see, we really do have some major financial needs right now. If you could possibly send a tax deductablecontribution to help, just click on the donation button below. Again, thank you for your help!
