Last year, we sent out a letter about the White House red phone. Although there is no longer an actual red phone in the White House, the need for instant Presidential communications and coordination in times of national emergency is embodied in the concept of the red phone.

However, inside Prayer Force One, "America's Flagship of Prayer", there really is a red phone! As we travel across the country, I enjoy watching people's reaction as they see this red phone. People usually smile as they point to the phone and sometimes ask, "Does that phone actually work?"

"It does if you have enough faith." I reply.

Prayer is the hot line to heaven, so that God's people might obtain Heaven's grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16) The Bible says, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." (Jeremiah 33:3)

At Prayer Force One, we have decided to put the "red phone" to a new and exclusive use. This could very possibly include you. I know that you agree that America needs prayer as never before. In truth, America is at the crossroads of decision. Will we continue to turn our back upon God, or return to the God of our fathers? Upon this question alone rests the destiny of our country and our children.

We believe that the great need of the hour is to call our countymen to prayer. We also believe that God has raised up Prayer Force One to lead out in this call. If you are receiving this e-letter, you have already demonstrated that you understand the dilemma America is now facing. We want to thank you for praying with and for Prayer Force One.

However, we feel that the time to has come to develop a core group of prayer warriors who will partner with us for the express purpose of praying for Prayer Force One and its leadership. We envision an elite group of prayer warriors that we can count on to uphold and pray for Prayer Force One as we make major decisions and face major challenges to expand this national prayer ministry into a national prayer movement.

In short, we are now asking you to pray about becoming a part of a very specialPrayer Force One, Red Phone Prayer Team. What this means is that you will be making a serious commitment to pray as part of an exclusive, intimate, and dedicated prayer group that will conscientiously pray with and for the leadership of Prayer Force One.

You will also receive a personalized, laminated PF-1 Red Phone Card which will contain our private cell number so that you may call upon Sandy and I and our staff when you have emergency prayer needs. (After all, this is a two way street!)

Please understand that we are not asking for everyone to join the PF-1 Red Phone Prayer Team! We are asking only for those who feel led of God, and who are willing to become a personal and genuine part of such a team. I already have some very important prayer requests to send to those who become a part.
