Dear Praying Americans,

     Today, as we officially observe Washington's birthday, (the third Monday in February, commonly called Presidents' Day) we are pleased to invite you to attend the rebirth of The Prayer Force One White House Prayer Meeting. This new beginning is the direct result of your letters of encouragement, advice, and many prayers. While we may have been inadvertently exiled from the present White House web site, you may rest assured that we will never be overlooked at the throne of our Lord Jesus Christ.

     Today's tour is the first of seven regular prayer tours that we are now busy putting together. (One for each day of the week) In addition to these daily prayer tours, we will be offering  some very special prayer tours to observe the various holidays of America.

Why We Do What We Do

     At Prayer Force One, it is our deep and urgent conviction that faith and prayer to God are the most important weapons in the arsonal of our national defense. The Bible tells us that:

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."
(Psalm 32:12)

     The Bible also sternly warns us that:

"The wicked shall be turned into hell,
and all the nations that forget God."
(Psalm 9:17)

     Today, America is at a financial, moral, and yes, a spiritual crisis. Never in our history has God's law been so violently disregarded nor His blessings so ungratefully spurned as they are today. Just the same, we serve a merciful God who has mercifully given us the blueprint for the healing of our land. In II Chronicles 7:14 God has promised us that:

     "If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land."

     At Prayer Force One, we believe that it is not enough to just pray. We must meet all four of the requirements set forth in II Chronicles 7:14. We believe that we must also call out to our brothers and sisters, yea, to all believing Americans to join us in prayer for our nation. This is the reason why we are so earnestly trying to unite Americans in prayer. This is why we have our daily, virtual, Prayer Force One White House Prayer Meeting. Your participation in this effort is ample proof that there is yet hope for America. Thank you for joining with thousands of others for prayer today.
