On Super Bowl Sunday - Jan. 31 - the day before Oklahoma's 55th legislative session begins, the sixth annual Legislative Prayer Gathering will be held at the Oklahoma State Capitol.

The event will be held on the floor of both the House and Senate chambers from 2-3 p.m.The goal is that very single chair will be filled as participants take advantage of the opportunity to sit in the chair of their state representative and /or senator and pray for that office holder (and others) for one hour.

"The objective was to have each of the 101 seats in the house chamber, as well as each of the 48 seats in the senate chamber, occupied with citizens in prayer." said spokesperson Dave Mehlhaff. Prayer Force One will again be one of the co sponsors of the event.

This event is also sponsored by Rep. Mike Reynolds, Sen. Jim Reynolds, Bott Radio Network, the Oklahoma Family Policy Council, Prayer Metro, Barnabas Ministries, Reclaim Oklahoma for Christ and Oklahoma Conservative PAC.
