Greetings from Prayer Force One
With so much to cover, (Prayer Force One Sunday, The National Prayer Summit and a post-election comments) I will waste no time in getting started.
Prayer In The White House
The White House Prayer Meeting on our nation's first ever Prayer Force One Sunday, was a huge and resounding success! Prayer partners logged in from all fifty states and from literally every corner of the earth! (From Afghanistan to Zambia) On PF-1 Sunday, we went over one hundred and fifty thousand hits on our web site. Because churches all across America were also participating with their own National Pray Force One Sunday observance, it is quite impossible to determine the extent of those who were involved. The important thing is that you joined with many others in sincere and solemn prayer for the soul of our nation; and this is only the beginning!

Many have expressed concern that we would stop our daily PF-1 White House Prayer Meeting now that our first Prayer Force One Sunday is over. A good example came from Merced, California where a dear brother wrote: "Please tell me that you are going to continue! I just found out about you and your work yesterday and... (with the election results) we must be on our knees more than ever."...Please rest assured that we will continue our daily prayer meeting in The White House so long as we are permitted! Prayer Force One Sunday in "The Valley"
During the Prayer Force One observance in our home church, our people were thrilled with Dr. Lance Hurley's performance as Patrick Henry. We whole-heartedly recommend that other churches invite Dr. Hurley to perform as Patrick Henry and/or George Washington in their church. He can be reached by e-mail at: HurleyPatriot@cox.net. You won't be disappointed!

Near the end of our service, we all knelt in prayer, and asked God to send revival to America. We then concluded our morning Prayer Force One observance by unveiling John Winfield's beautiful new painting of Prayer Force One in Washington DC. Thank you John for donating a portion of your time to help in the great work of calling our nation back to God. Thanks also to all those churches that participated in a special Prayer Force One Sunday observances of their own.

National Prayer Summit Report
A short time before Prayer Force One Sunday, Sandy and I were honored to greet delegates during The National Prayer Summit held at the national headquarters of Focus On The Family in Colorado Springs, Colorado. What an incredible and encouraging event this was. Prayer Force One Sunday would not have beenso successful had it not been for the NDP Task Force, who included PF-1 Sunday in their post-summit e-mail blast. Sandy and I are shown here with Shirley Dobson who has been the guiding hand of the National Day Of Prayer for eighteen years. I would also like to give special thanks to The National Prayer Committee, The American Family Association and the Navigators'-Pray! magazine for partnering in the efforts of Prayer Force One.
Post-Election Comments
I have said many times that we must pray over our nation like Christian parents pray over a wayward child. "Lord, bless our child, but do whatever is necessary to bring him back to you."This kind of praying takes firm faith in the loving goodness of God. Chastening often precedes godly repentance. Likewise, in praying for our nation, we must ask God to take whatever measures are necessary to awaken our people. I like the way that Carol Gordon of Heart Menders International summed up last week's election. She said:
"Stay engaged! The battle is for the heart of the nation, not for the seat of government!.. The body of Christ cannot say, 'Well that's over and take our victory or defeat marbles and go home, as we have after other elections - abandoning our prayer posts! We are responsible on a daily basis for the governance of this nation."
I would like to add thatwhen wewin the battle for the heart of the nation, the seat of government will naturally follow. In this battle, we must always remember that prayer remains the most powerful weapon in the spiritual arsenal of the children of God. Your work and sacrifice in helping to establish Prayer Force One, has laid the foundation for many spiritual victories in the days ahead. With your help, we will continue to fight for the soul of our nation.
