Prayer Force One Reports From Liberty University - Friday, April 25, 2008

Greetings from Lynchburg, Virginia! What favor God gave while at Liberty University. God blessed beyond all of our expectations.

On Sunday we attended Thomas Road Baptist Church were we met Liberty's Co-founder, Dr. Elmer Towns, who also serves as the Dean of Liberty's School of Religion. He taught a great lesson as he encouraged thousands to pray for God to raise up national leaders of prayer. Although Dr. Towns had to fly out to California, he e-mailed us later expressing his regrets for not being able to come aboard Prayer Force One.

On Tuesday we went to Convo and conducted an open house aboard Prayer Force One for the students and faculty of Liberty University. Just after lunch, Jerry Falwell, Jr. the president of Liberty University, along with his son, Trey, came and toured the bus. Jerry is a very gracious man and promised to feature Prayer Force One in The Liberty Journal, which circulates nation wide. True to his word, a reporter and photographer showed up the next day. He also promised to have us back to speak to the entire student body on a return visit.

On Tuesday we had the unique opportunity to photograph the Liberty Air Force ROTC students alongside Prayer Force One. These young men and women, like so many we met at Liberty, were polite to us and excited about Prayer Force One being on campus. I do think that this will always be one of my favorite photos of Prayer Force One. We must be soldiers of prayer for our LORD.

On Tuesday evening, we spoke to a gathering of students at a special forum sponsored by The Strategic Policy Institute. Dr. Charles Murphy and a great staff are placing Liberty students in strategic internships throughout a wide spectrum of American life. Many thanks to the Institute for inviting us, and to Liberty University for hosting the event. We feel that a great deal was accomplished and that firm foundations were laid for a future relationship between Prayer Force One and Liberty University.

Well, were off to Washington DC tomorrow. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel. Pray for wisdom, protection, favor, and continued divine appointments. How we need America to turn back to God in humble prayer. We are doing what we can. Thank you for doing your part too. God bless each and every one of you that have partnered with us in this important ministry.

Yours For God & Country,
Ed Moore, President Prayer Force
One II Chronicles 7:14

P.S. Allow me to add this following sweet story. A dear Christian lady in a Maryland RV Park read our literature and came back later with a plate of snicker doodle cookies and a $50.00 check, and said, "I believe in what you are doing and want to give this to help pay for your fuel." We were so touched and encouraged. Since leaving Oklahoma we have spent over $1,000 on diesel alone. I know you can't send cookies, but I do hope God will lead some of you to send a little something for diesel. Just click on the icon below to help.  God bless you.
