World renown rail artist John Winfield has accepted a commission to do a portrait painting of Prayer Force One. John Winfield is an internationally acclaimed rail artist whose paintings have been commisioned or purchased by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway, the Union Pacific railroad, the BNS&F as well as various museums and private collectors. His paintings have been featured on many book and magazine covers and even popularized for the public as interlocking puzzles.
The painting of Prayer Force One will be a on a 24" x 36" canvas and will depict Prayer Force One's upcoming trip to Washington DC. It will feature Prayer Force One with the backdrop of the United States Capitol Building. Several unveiling venues are now being considered for the painting which is due to be completed for the 2008 Forth of July celebration. A limited number of full sized, artist enhanced canvas reproductions, signed and numbered by the artist, will be made available in a major donor fund raising program.
John and Elaine are wonderful Christians who have been asking God to lead them in using their talent and business for the kingdom of God. John is donating a portion of his usual commission toward helping the ministry of Prayer Force One.
