Dear Members of the Prayer Force One - Red Phone Prayer Team,

     Greetings from the Capitol Hill observance of The National Day of Prayer in Washington DC, from which we have just returned. We are preparing a good newsy report for everyone, which we hope to have in your e-mail box by this Sunday night.

Prayer Request #1

     I do have two special prayer requests for you right now. The first is an urgent family request. Just before we left for Washington, we received word that Sandy's brother, Burson Corley, a Baptist pastor from Farmington, New Mexico, had received shocking news. His seven year old daughter awoke with her neck and face swollen almost twice its normal size. A catscan revealed a mass behind her heart about the size of a man's fist. She was immediately medi-flighted to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer and possible Leukemia.

     Please keep little Tiffany Corley, her parents Burson and Debbie Corley, and her five brothers and sisters in special prayer. We have faced this ugly specter before with our own daughter. Prayer Request # 2

     We have received an invitation from the International Fellowship of Christian Firefighters, to partner with them in a major mission journey across America in commemoration of 9/11. This would consist of a cross-country bicycle journey of Christian fireman from Seattle, Washington to the Pentagon in Washington DC, with Prayer Force One leading the way. We would be holding joint news conferences all the way across the United States. The event would take place during the ninth month of the eleventh year. (September, 2011) and thus... 9/11.

     We are discussing the prospect with them right now and so need your prayers for God's leadership and clear guidance. We will not be saying much out-loud about this right now but do ask you to make this a real matter of prayer as the possibilities are exciting.
